Jeff Kandt was born and raised in South St. Paul, Jeff is a graduate of South St. Paul High School. He joined his father’s company in 1985 and is a recognized leader in many organizations including the South St. Paul Lions, River Heights Chamber of Commerce, South St. Paul Educational Foundation and Hemophilia Foundation of Minnesota/Dakotas. Jeff is a Graduate of the University of Minnesota B.S. Mortuary Science. Jeff resides in Inver Grove Heights with his wife Char and two sons. Paul Tetrick was born and raised in Glencoe, Paul is a graduate of Glencoe High School. He joined English-Meeker & Kandt in 2003 to become a co-owner. Paul is a leader in many organizations including the South St. Paul / Inver Grove Heights Rotary Club, River Heights Chamber of Commerce, Boy Scout Troop#99, Inver Grove Good Samaritan Advisory Board, Prairie View Heights Housing Board, SSP Public Schools Community Finance Committee and Mizpah Masonic Lodge #191 . Paul is a Graduate of the University of Minnesota B.S. Mortuary Science. Paul is a long-time resident in South St. Paul with his wife Kelly, two sons and one daughter. Kelly received an undergraduate degree in History, a Masters of Education degree from Bethel University & Director of Special Education Administrative Licensure at Hamline University. Kelly is currently the Director of Special Services for South St. Paul Schools. Kelly is a member of SSP Library Board, MN Association of School Administrators, MN Administrators for Special Education, Hamline University Administrative Licensure Advisory Board. Contact Paul.

In 1941, The English Funeral Home was established by Robert & Grace English. In 1950, Warren Meeker became a partner to create the English-Meeker Funeral Home. Myron and Russel Kandt purchased the funeral home in 1957 and the two brothers worked together until 1979. In 1985, Jeff Kandt joined his father Myron and changed the name of the company to English-Meeker & Kandt Funeral Home. They worked together until Myron’s death in 2000. Paul Tetrick became partners with Jeff in 2003 and the partners changed the name to Kandt-Tetrick Funeral & Cremation Services in 2012.
